ATM LOCATOR
For surcharge-free ATM service when you're out of reach of one of our branch ATMs, locate the nearest CO-OP network ATM with your cell phone or any computer by following the instructions below:
Members with cell phones can text MYCOOP (692667) to find a surcharge free CO-OP ATM, anywhere in the United States.
In the message field, simply type in an address, including the city and state, in the vicinity of your desired location. You may also type in the intersection of two streets including the city and state. A return text message will be received with a list of the nearest ATMs in that area. To see an expanded list of locations, simply reply to the message with "More." This locator service is available at no additional charge to members. However, your standard text rates will apply.
Use the following website address to locate a CO-OP network ATM anywhere in the United States: http://www.co-opfs.org/public/locators/atmlocator/index.cfm
Additionally, Cashpoints ATMs are also available surcharge-free to our members throughout North Carolina.
Our cards will work in ATM terminals that display the CO-OP, Cirrus, MasterCard, and Star network logos. However, charges may apply at terminals where the CO-OP logo is not displayed.

OVERDRAFT COVERAGE
We offer overdraft transfer and overdraft line of credit.
Overdraft Transfer will link a member’s checking account to the member’s credit union savings account. Funds from the savings account are paid out when there are non-sufficient funds in the member's primary checking account. The entire balance of the savings account is accessible for overdraft transfer payments, if needed. The credit union will charge a small fee for each overdraft transfer.
Overdraft Line of Credit is a short-term interest-bearing loan from the credit union designed to cover insufficient funds in your checking account. All overdraft lines of credit are subject to the loan approval guidelines of the credit union.
The overdraft line of credit will cover the unpaid balance of approved transaction charges, up to the approved amount of your line of credit. The maximum line of credit for any qualified member is $2,000. Overdraft lines of credit are issued in an amount greater than the NSF amount to be covered by rounding up to the nearest $50.
Overdraft coverage will only apply to the payment of approved transactions made at retail locations and through similar third party merchants. Members do not have access to overdraft coverage as a direct source of cash.
SHARED BRANCH NETWORK
Contact the branch to enroll in the Shared Branch Network. Enrollment allows you to make deposits, loan payments, and withdrawals at any participating shared branch location (more than 4,000, nationwide). A small fee will be charged for withdrawals. There is no charge for a deposit or loan payment at shared branch locations.
To find a shared branch location:
IMPORTANT: When transacting at a shared branch location, you must identify yourself as being a member of Self-Help Credit Union and provide your full Credit Union member account number. We operate as a division of Self-Help Credit Union.
Some shared branch locations will display the Credit Union Service Centers name, while others operate through established credit unions. Regardless of the location, you will be able to conduct credit union business with confidence.
